A new blog

My blog " Life's too short to Stuff a Mushroom . . " has become a travel blog which was not the intention, hence this new one. When I expressed my surprise at that, it was pointed out to me that I had always travelled a lot more than the "average" person and that revelation itself was a surprise to me. Although travelling from home has been a big part of my life, influencing my values and beliefs, as well as leaving me with great memories of people and places, it has been only a small part of it. This blog will be about the other daily travelling life part of my life

We travel through life each day, minute by minute, changing in so many known and also in unrecognised ways, each of us living in the same but different world, experiencing the same things differently yet similarly, doing basic life maintaining things - basic things such as eating - differently, however wherever we go each day whether in our "own" country or a less familiar one can we easily relate and empathise with strangers, provided we have the will to do so. The World Wide Web has provided us with the ability to connect almost instantly with anyone anywhere - how wonderful that is! From my own home I share in the lives of other people I will never meet, thereby enriching my own life. Sad things, happy things, funny, and the not so funny things. That's life. Right now, I'm in it!
